Vintage Tiger Moth Joy Flights
Take a step back in time when you climb into the open cockpit of our beautiful, vintage de Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth.
Designed in Great Britain in the 1930s, the Tiger Moth quickly became the first choice of primary trainers for the Commonwealth air forces, including the Royal Australian Air Force. Tens of thousands of military pilots got their wings in these machines, most of whom went on to serve in World War II. Since then the Tiger Moth has gained legendary status with many examples still flying today.
Panorama Airways’ Tiger Moth was built in 1942 and still operates safely today. From the open cockpit you will experience flight the way those brave young Airmen did over seventy years ago. Feel the slipstream on your face, smell the oil and the engine, and see the beautiful sights of Bathurst, Mount Panorama, and the surrounding area.
